As we continue to traverse the ever-changing climate surrounding the COVID-19 Pandemic, I want to assure you that Quantum Credit Union is prepared and ready for what is to come.

In order to play our role in a socially responsible manner, Quantum will be temporarily closing the lobbies of our Wichita branches beginning Friday, March 20 until further notice.

You can still access your funds from the drive-thru, Online Banking, and our Mobile App. We are prepared to handle most transactions through the drive-thru. You can also contact us at 316-263-5756 or toll-free at 1-877-287-3783.

Our goal is to provide exceptional service while protecting the health and safety of our members and employees.

 

How can you access your account?

Quantum Credit Union provides many services which are accessible anytime, anywhere.  We encourage you to utilize these services to remain in touch with your finances.

Drive-Thru Access

The Main drive-thru will be open from 8:30 am- 6:00 pm Monday - Friday, and 9:00 am - 12:00 pm on Saturday. The Downtown drive-thru will be open 10:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday - Friday.

We will be able to assist you with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cashier’s checks, loan payments, stop payments, and setting up automatic payments.

In addition, we will utilize the drive-thru to open new accounts and close loans.

If you visit our website at TheQ.org, you can also submit a new account request and a loan application. Loan officers will be available to review all applications. If you choose, electronic documents can be sent to assist in closing your loan from home or work.

Telephone Teller

Our Telephone Teller is available to help you make financial transactions around the clock at 316-263-5756 or toll-free at 877-287-3783. You will need to have your Member Number and Telephone Teller PIN to use this service. To establish a PIN, please contact us at the phone number listed above.

ATMs

Each Quantum location has an ATM outside of the branch that is available 24/7 for cash withdrawals, and the ATMs at our Main Office and Wolf Creek branch accept cash and check deposits. Quantum Credit Union also participates in the CO-OP Shared ATM Network, and you can make cash withdrawals at any CO-OP Shared ATM. Please visit www.allco-op.org to find an ATM near you.

Contact Center

Quantum has staff available by phone in our contact center Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Our staff can handle most requested transactions including setting up Online Banking cash transfers, and loan applications. Phone requests may require additional security questions to assure we have properly identified the caller.

 

 

How is Quantum prepared to help our members?

In times of crisis, you may find yourself unemployed, staying home with children, or unable to make payments for a variety of reasons. While payments don’t stop, Quantum is stepping in to help in a few ways.

Payment Deferrals

We are offering a 60-day deferment on qualifying loans for affected members. In addition, your Visa Statement will contain information about a payment deferment for your Quantum credit card.

Emergency Loan

Quantum is offering you a low-cost, unsecured loan to get you by while you are furloughed, laid off, or in other financial difficulty during this time. Certain minimum requirements apply. Loan requests should be submitted to the loan department at TheQ.org or by calling 316-263-5756

 

FAQ

How can I make a deposit?

  • You will be able to make check deposits through our Mobile App. It’s completely free and you can make the deposit from the comfort of your home. Look for our app on your smart phone by searching “Quantum Credit Union.”
  • The drive-thru will be open to accept your cash or check deposits.
  • You can also utilize the ATM or Night Drop for after-hours deposits.

How can I make a withdrawal?

  • You will be able to withdraw funds through the drive-thru
  • ATMs are available 24/7
  • Within Online Banking, you can request a cashier’s check that can be mailed to you or picked up in the drive-thru

How can I make a transfer?

  • The Mobile App makes a transfer to another Quantum account a breeze.
  • If you are looking to transfer funds to a person at another institution you can also use the Pay Anyone feature in the Mobile App. Funds will usually be transferred within 1 business day
  • Transfers can also be processed in the drive-thru

How can I make a payment?

  • Bill Pay is available in Online Banking or our Mobile App free to you. Simply plug in your payment details such as the payee, the account number for the company, and the amount you want to send. This service can automatically send your payment to eligible companies electronically, or if they are not eligible paper check will be sent. Please allow 1-3 business days for the payment to process.
  • You can transfer funds from your savings or checking accounts at Quantum to your loan with us at no cost to you.
  • You can use Pay Anyone with as little as a name, amount to transfer, and an email or mobile phone number.
  • You can call or come by to make a payment with your debit card, or account number and routing number. While this process normally requires a $10 charge, we will be waiving it at this time.
  • We will be available to take payments in the drive-thru by transferring between your accounts
  • Automatic payments can be established to cover your monthly payments

Can I establish a new account with Quantum during this time?

  • Yes, absolutely. You can apply online to be reviewed for eligibility. A representative will give you a call to finalize the new account
  • We can also set up the new account through the drive. Please be sure to check our website at TheQ.org for the documentation needed to open the account.

How do I get a new or replacement debit card?

Give us a call at 316-263-5756. We will aim to have a card created for you before you arrive to pick it up. If you are in the drive-thru, it will take us a few minutes to make you a new card.

How can I submit a loan application?

Loan application can be submitted at TheQ.org, or by calling 316-263-5756 or 1-800-287-3783

As the growing concerns of COVID-19 continues to spread locally and nationally, Quantum Credit Union is evaluating and addressing functions of our everyday practices to best protect our members and employees. Leadership team members are constantly reviewing regulatory agency guidance, including the CDC’s recommendations and adjusting our actions accordingly.

Our goal is to continue to provide service to our members with social responsibility as our guide.

What is Quantum doing?

  • We have increased the frequency and thoroughness of our facility cleaning schedules. This includes teller stations, ATMs, lobbies and drive-thrus.
  • We are providing hand sanitizer in all locations for members and employees.
  • Employees are encouraged to wash their hands thoroughly throughout the day and to wipe down their work areas frequently.
  • Employees are encouraged to stay home if they are not feeling well.
  • We are requesting that staff avoid participating in any personal contact such as shaking hands.
  • We are eliminating coffee and cookie service to reduce touch points that could cause the spread of the virus. 
  • We are cancelling all corporate travel that might put employees at risk and are limiting unnecessary visitors to our buildings.
